Eden Gardens is again holding an installation art exhibition titled Eden Unearthed: Art in the Gardens, located at Macquarie Park, the fourth biggest corporate hub in Australia.
Featuring art installations from established and up and coming artists. It runs over a six month period from November 1 2023 to April 30, 2024.
Eden Gardens are looking for original, site specific and site responsive work that fits well within our theme of ‘Eden Unearthed’ and our mission statement of Enriching People’s Lives With Plants. This speaks to the pillars of sustainability: economic, environmental, and social.  Sculptural works, sound and water installations and ephemeral works are encouraged, and those with an environmental slant or emphasis on social cohesion are particularly sought.
Featured artists will receive $500 per artwork honorarium. Additional stipends are available on applications (up to $5000) to assist in the creation of site specific works.Â
Applications are free to submit for the artists and students, and you can enter as many different times as you wish. Submissions close June 30 2023.
Prizes available are as follows:
- Eden Gardens Award – $10,000
- People’s Choice Award – $1,000
- Accessibility Award – $300
- Photography Award – $100 prize
