Today in our communities, thousands of people live in environments hostile to their personal growth. More than ever, the arts are fundamental to our humanity, communities, and well being. It elevates and inspires us, helping us heal, confront, affirm, examine, and explore the world within and around us.

Global Arts Society is a non-profit organization that reaches over 100 children, teens, and adults annually with our arts programs; providing a place where experienced and non-experienced children, teens, and adults of all ages and abilities are encouraged to identify and develop their full creative potential through the visual and performing arts.

NON-PROFIT STATUS: Global Arts Society is a 501c3 non-profit arts organization, and all proceeds from classes, workshops, seminars, and events, including sales, and fundraising, support the GAS organization, its mission, companies, and programs.

Mission (Who We Are)

Using the arts as our medium, the mission of Global Arts Society is to educate, serve, bring awareness, and give voice to under-served communities and causes. Our programming transcends religion, creed, culture, and socioeconomic status, to impact education, elevate awareness, cultivate creativity, transform self-image, and enhance spiritual, mental and physical well-being. Global Arts Society is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.

Purpose (What We Do)

Global Arts Society is originated and dedicate to removing the economic barrier making arts accessible to all individuals. Global Arts Society is established to provide a place where experienced and non-experienced children, teens, and adults of all ages and abilities are encouraged to identify and develop their full creative potential through the visual and performing arts.

What We Offer

Global Arts Society offers unique, and constantly evolving artist-led workshops, classes, and programs for performing and visual artists with varying training; from beginner to master and professional levels. We are committed to fostering the arts through strategic programming, providing participants with a well- rounded art education.


Goals
  • Provide a minimum of 50 students with Full/Partial Arts Scholarships.
  • Build awareness and strengthen the presence of Global Arts Society and its mission in the community.

  • History & Accomplishments

    The Global Arts Society is a non-profit arts and humanitarian organization, with its headquarters located in Panama City, FL. In existence since 2006, it began with the intention of broadening the traditional artistic views in our local community by the joining together of artist through movement and expression, and has evolved to include communities across the globe. Our vision and efforts have awarded us a continual contract with the United States Air Force, Tallahassee Housing Authority, and a partnership with Gulf Coast State College, Panama City Redevelopment Agency, Emory University, and the Florida State Dance Department. Other opportunities include the A.D Harris Learning Village, YMCA, and Bay Medical Hospital health and fitness dance classes, workshops, seminars, and classes at Bay County Schools, Gulf Coast State College, Emory University, and Girls Incorporated, and lasting charitable partnerships, features, and performance opportunities for organizations like Toys For Tots, Salvation Army, and others. Global Arts Society will continue to build an artistic path in communities around the globe with the development of our classes, workshops, events, year round programs, and strengthened presence in the community through expressive works of art.

    Global Arts Society is governed by our Board of Directors, and managed by an Executive Director, Managing Director, Independent Contractors, and many volunteer staff members.
